Eğri burun genel olarak burnun uzun aksının orta hattan kayması şeklinde tanımlanır. Orta hattan kaymalar kemik kısım, kıkırdak kısım veya her ikisinde de olabilir. Eğri burun rinoplastisi standart bir işlem olmayıp, altta yatan soruna göre planlanmaktadır. Ameliyat öncesi değerlendirmede sıklıkla burun uzun aksı üst, orta ve alt çatı olarak ayrılmaktadır. Cerrahi plan bu çatılardaki mevcut sorunlara göre yapılmaktadır. Bu yazıda, kulak burun boğaz uygulamasında sıklıkla karşılaşılan eğri buruna yönelik bir algoritma sunuldu. Bu amaçla ‘crooked nose’, ‘deviated nose’, ‘twisted nose’, ‘deflected nose’, ‘asymmetric nose’ ve ‘scoliotic nose’ kelimeleri PubMed üzerinden taranarak elde edilen derleme makaleler değerlendirildi. Sonuç olarak, eğri burun rinoplastisi rinoplastinin zor işlemlerinden biridir. Standart bir teknik yoktur. Bu deformitelerin düzeltilmesinde çeşitli yaklaşımlar tek başına veya birlikte kullanılabilir.

A deviated nose is usually defined as the deviation of the nasal axis from midline. Deviations from midline may be localized in the bony part, cartilage part or both parts. Rhinoplasty of a deviated nose is not a standard procedure, but is planned according to the underlying problem resulting in deviation. In preoperative evaluation, the nose is often divided as upper, middle, and lower vault. The surgical plan is made according to the existing problems of these vaults. In this article, we present an algorithm for a deviated nose which is common in the otorhinolaryngology practice. The words ‘crooked nose’, ‘deviated nose’, ‘twisted nose’, ‘deflected nose’, ‘asymmetric nose’ and ‘scoliotic nose’ were searched on PubMed and review articles were evaluated for this purpose. In conclusion, rhinoplasty for a deviated nose is one of the difficult rhinoplasty procedures. There is no standard procedure. Isolated approaches and combinations can be used for the correction of these deformities.
